How can I find polished indie gems that flew under the radar?

I feel like I've played all the big indie hits from the last few years and I'm craving something fresh. I keep seeing lists for hidden gem indie games 2026, but most of them seem to be early access titles or games that aren't even out yet. How do you actually find those amazing, polished games that just flew under the radar when they released?
