Drum machines are essential for so many genres. What free drum machine VST plugins do you recommend for electronic music, hip-hop, or any genre really? I'm looking for options that have good built-in sounds and are easy to program. Some free sampler plugins can work as drum machines too if they have good sample libraries. What are your favorites for getting those classic drum machine sounds without spending money?

For free drum machine VST plugins, Sitala is my favorite. It's super intuitive and sounds great. For more classic drum machine sounds, the DrumMic'a free version has some good options. And if you want something more flexible, the TX16Wx sampler is free and can load any drum samples. These free sampler plugins can work as drum machines if you have good samples.
