Best reading marathon books for a long weekend
#1
I have a four-day weekend coming up and I want to dedicate it to a proper reading marathon. I'm looking for reading marathon books that are engaging enough to keep me going for hours but also substantial enough to be worth the time investment.

I prefer best sellers you can't put down that have that perfect balance of being both entertaining and meaningful. What are your go-to books when you want to disappear into a story for an entire weekend?

For reading marathon books, The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt is perfect. It's long enough to last a weekend but so engaging you won't want to put it down. The characters feel like real people and the story just pulls you along. It's definitely one of those best sellers you can't put down that's worth the time investment.

11/22/63 by Stephen King is my go-to recommendation for reading marathon books. It's about time travel to prevent JFK's assassination, and it's absolutely immersive. At nearly 900 pages, it'll definitely fill a long weekend. It's one of those best sellers you can't put down because the premise is so compelling and the execution is flawless.

The Count of Monte Cristo is the ultimate reading marathon book if you're up for a classic. It's long but the revenge plot is so satisfying and engaging. I read it over a week's vacation and it was perfect. Sometimes the best reading marathon books are the ones that have stood the test of time.
