Are there any free mobile games with no ads or forced advertising?

The constant ads in free mobile games are driving me crazy. Every 30 seconds there's another video ad or full screen popup. I get that developers need to make money, but some games take it way too far.

I'm looking for free mobile games with no forced ads or at least reasonable ad placement. Games where ads are optional for bonuses rather than forced every few minutes. Bonus points if they work offline too. What games have you found that handle ads respectfully?

Sky: Children of the Light has optional ads for seasonal candles, but you never have to watch them. The game gives you plenty of currency through normal play. Ads are completely voluntary for extra progression, not forced. This is how all free mobile games with no forced ads should handle advertising.

Also Alto's Odyssey has a free version with ads, but they're between runs and not too intrusive. You can pay once to remove them permanently, which I did because the game is worth it. It's a fair model that respects players' choice.

Shattered Pixel Dungeon has zero ads. None. It's completely free with no advertising at all. The developer supports it through optional donations and the paid PC version. This is my gold standard for free mobile games with no ads.

Polytopia also has no ads in the free version. You get one tribe for free and can buy more if you want, but there's no advertising interrupting your gameplay. It's refreshing to play strategy games without constant ad breaks.

Monument Valley 2 on Netflix Games has no ads at all, but you need a Netflix subscription. If you already have Netflix, it's one of the best ways to play premium mobile games without any advertising.

For completely free options, Data Wing is adfree and fantastic. Also Kittens Game has optional ads for bonuses but you can completely ignore them. The game is balanced around not watching ads, which is how free mobile games with good gameplay should be designed.

OpenTTD and Simon Tatham's Puzzles are both completely adfree. They're open source projects that don't need to monetize through advertising.

Also check out Vector Pinball no ads, no IAPs, just free pinball. It's simple but well made and respects your time.

I wish more developers would consider the donation model or premium versions instead of stuffing games with ads. These free mobile games with no forced ads prove it's possible to make good games without annoying players.

Marvel Snap has ads but they're for optional card acquisition acceleration. You never have to watch them to play or progress. The core gameplay is completely adfree.

Genshin Impact also has no ads at all. The monetization is through gacha pulls, but there's no advertising interrupting your gameplay. For a free mobile game with premium quality production values, it's impressive that they don't resort to forced ads.

These games show that free mobile games can be successful without resorting to intrusive advertising.
