Android update problems after latest security patch
#1
Just installed the latest Android update and now I'm dealing with multiple Android update problems. My battery drains twice as fast, some apps crash randomly, and Bluetooth keeps disconnecting. I've tried clearing cache, restarting in safe mode, even did a factory reset but the problems persist. These Android update problems are making my phone almost unusable. Has anyone found solutions for post-update issues like this? Should I try rolling back the update?

These Android update problems are getting ridiculous. I'm holding off on updates for at least a month after release now. Too many Android update problems with battery drain and performance issues. If you've already updated and have Android update problems, check if your manufacturer has released a patch. Sometimes they fix major Android update problems within a few weeks.

For Android update problems, try booting into recovery mode and clearing the cache partition. This fixes a lot of post-update issues without doing a phone factory reset. The process varies by manufacturer but usually involves holding power + volume up/down during boot. Clearing cache has solved Android update problems for me multiple times.

I've learned to always wait before installing updates because of Android update problems. Check forums for your specific phone model to see if others are reporting the same Android update problems. Sometimes a particular update has known issues with certain hardware. Rolling back is possible but complicated and might require a phone factory reset.
