I just bought a new aftermarket head unit for my older car specifically for Android Auto, but I'm running into persistent connection issues where it disconnects randomly or fails to launch at all. I'm using a certified USB cable and have a relatively new phone, so I'm troubleshooting the unit itself. For others who have installed aftermarket Android Auto systems, what were the most common fixes for stability problems, and is there a significant difference in reliability between wired and wireless adapters for these units?
