Zero, drift off and listen to a tiny proof told as a bedtime tale: when a friend named a joins you, a plus zero equals a because you add nothing and you remain you. Then the wiser narrator whispers that zero times any number is zero, so no matter how many friends you bring, you still rest at zero.
