I'm launching a niche online course for professional photographers, and after months of developing the content, I'm completely stuck on the final pricing strategy, torn between a high-ticket, all-access model to signal premium quality and a more accessible tiered structure to attract a wider audience. I've analyzed my competitors, but their offerings and audience size are so different that it's not a helpful comparison, and I'm worried about undervaluing my work or pricing myself out of the market. For fellow creators and small business owners, how did you land on a price that felt fair to both you and your customers? What testing or validation methods did you use before launch, and how do you balance the psychology of pricing, like using charm prices versus round numbers, with the need to maintain a sustainable, professional business model?
