I finally caved and bought an air fryer after hearing everyone rave about it, but so far I've only used it to reheat fries and make frozen snacks, which feels like a waste of its potential. I'm looking for reliable, tested air fryer recipes that go beyond just cooking frozen food, especially for weeknight dinners like whole chicken breasts, roasted vegetables, or even from-scratch items like homemade falafel or egg rolls. For those who use theirs daily, what are your go-to recipes that have genuinely changed how you cook, and do you have any tips for adjusting cooking times or temperatures from traditional oven recipes to avoid ending up with dried-out or undercooked meals?
What air fryer are you using? Basket or rack? If you share the model and typical batch size, I can tailor times. Also, do you preheat, and how much oil do you usually use? We can sketch a simple weeknight plan.
