I've been a Steam user for over a decade, and my library has grown to several hundred games, but I'm increasingly frustrated with the platform's discovery algorithms and the sheer volume of low-effort releases that make it impossible to find interesting indie titles amidst the noise. My wishlist is full of games I've forgotten why I added, and the storefront feels more like a digital flea market than a curated experience. For other long-term users, how do you effectively manage and rediscover your own library, and what tools or community resources outside of Steam itself do you rely on to find quality games that match your tastes? Have you found any success with third-party library managers or specific curator groups that actually provide meaningful recommendations, or do you just accept that navigating Steam is now a part-time job?
