I've been building a creator community management strategy around my educational YouTube channel for about a year, using a Discord server to foster deeper discussion, but I'm hitting a wall where the same small percentage of members are active while the vast majority remain silent, and I'm struggling to create content or prompts that resonate with the wider audience without burning myself out. The community was meant to be a value-add for my most dedicated followers, but now it feels like an obligation that's pulling time away from actually creating videos, and I'm worried the quality of interaction is declining as the server grows. For other creators who have built successful, sustainable communities, how do you structure your time and delegate moderation to keep the space vibrant without it becoming a full-time job? What types of exclusive content or interactive formats have you found most effective for boosting participation from lurkers, and how do you measure the success of the community in terms that go beyond just member count or message volume?
