I've been studying crisis management leadership situations, and I'm fascinated by how decision making skills for managers change under pressure. In normal circumstances, we encourage collaborative decision-making and gathering lots of input, but during a crisis, you often need to make quick decisions with limited information.

What specific decision-making approaches have you seen work well in crisis situations? How do you balance the need for speed with the risk of making poor decisions?

I'm also interested in how resilience in leadership affects decision-making during crises. Do resilient leaders make different types of decisions than those who struggle under pressure? And what can we do to develop better crisis decision-making skills in our leaders?
