I recently upgraded to a flagship smartphone, and while I love the camera and display, the battery life is disappointing, barely lasting a full day with moderate use involving email, messaging, and some light browsing. I've already turned down screen brightness and disabled background refresh for most apps, but I'm hesitant to start disabling core features I paid for just to get through the day. For other users of this model or similar phones, what specific settings or habits made the most significant difference in extending your daily usage? Are there any reliable external battery packs or charging strategies you'd recommend for someone who is often away from an outlet, or is this just an unavoidable trade-off with powerful modern devices?
