Full Version: Is Ryzen 5 5600 and RX 6600 enough for a $600 budget PC?

I'm trying to build a solid budget gaming PC for around six hundred dollars that can reliably handle new titles at 1080p with medium to high settings, but I'm struggling to balance the CPU and GPU allocation with current prices. I'm leaning towards an AMD Ryzen 5 5600 and an RX 6600, but I'm unsure if that leaves enough for a decent power supply, case airflow, and 16GB of RAM without bottlenecking the system. For builders who've recently put together a budget gaming PC, what component choices gave you the best performance per dollar? Are there any specific pitfalls to avoid with cheaper motherboards or memory speeds, and is it worth buying any used parts like a GPU from the last generation to stretch the budget further?
