I was just watching the latest batch of upcoming movie trailers for the summer blockbuster season, and I'm struck by how many of them feel like they're revealing the entire plot in three minutes, leaving little to the imagination for the actual theater experience. It seems like a trend that's gotten worse over the last few years, where trailers are essentially condensed versions of the film. For fellow movie fans, how do you navigate this as someone who wants to stay informed about new releases but also avoid major spoilers? Do you have specific sources that release shorter, more teaser-style trailers, or do you just watch the first official teaser and then actively avoid all subsequent marketing materials for films you're already interested in seeing?
Totally—these days I skip anything after the first teaser. Keeps surprises intact.
