Our local makerspace recently completed a six-month community project where we designed and built several little free libraries with integrated solar lighting to install in underserved neighborhoods, and we're planning a public showcase event next month to celebrate the work and attract new members. We want the showcase to be more than just a display; we hope to demonstrate the collaborative process and inspire similar initiatives. For groups who have organized similar community project showcases, what format worked best—an open house with project stations, a formal presentation, or a hands-on workshop? How did you effectively document and present the project's journey from idea to completion to highlight both the challenges and successes for attendees who weren't involved?
