I'm considering purchasing my first electric vehicle, but my main hesitation is the EV charging infrastructure in my area, as I live in an apartment building without dedicated parking or the ability to install a home charger. My daily commute is about 40 miles round trip, and there seem to be a few public Level 2 chargers nearby, but I'm unsure if relying on them is practical long-term. For other EV owners without home charging, how have you managed? What apps or strategies do you use to find reliable public chargers, and how much extra time and planning does it realistically add to your week compared to just filling up at a gas station?
