"body": "I just got this new phone and the battery life is awful. It was fine for the first couple days but now it's dropping like 20 percent an hour even if I'm not using it much. I checked the battery usage screen and nothing obvious is eating it up. I'm starting to think I got a lemon or something. I don't want to go through the hassle of returning it already though."

That sounds rough and totally frustrating for a brand new phone. Battery drains that fast is not normal.

Might be a software glitch or a misbehaving app, not the phone itself. Try a soft reset and review background apps to see if anything is draining power.

From my own experience a firmware update or a quick factory reset cleared similar drain on a new model after backing up.

If nothing changes push for a warranty swap or exchange for a model that actually lasts.
