My AirPods Pro case won't hold a charge anymore || I've had my AirPods Pro for about two years and the case itself dies in less than a day now, even if I don't use the earbuds. The earbuds still charge fine inside it, but the case battery is basically useless. I have to plug it in constantly. I looked up a battery replacement and it's almost as expensive as buying a refurbished pair. It feels like such a waste for just the case to fail.
That sounds rough Try swapping the charger and cable and clean the charging contacts on the case and buds with a dry cloth Make sure the case charges wired or wireless and watch the indicator light
Reset the AirPods and repair them with your device Then test if the case still drains quickly If so the case battery may be degraded and replacement is likely the practical route
Apple offers battery service for the case or a replacement charging case if you want to avoid buying a whole set If going third party be careful with quality and warranties
