I accidentally liked an old photo on someone's profile || I was scrolling through an old acquaintance's social media profile and my finger slipped, and I liked a photo from like five years ago. I immediately unliked it but I'm paranoid they got a notification. It's so embarrassing because we haven't spoken in years. Now I feel like I look like a weirdo who stalks old posts. I guess I just have to hope they didn't see it.

Honestly not a big deal. Accidental likes happen to everyone. If they bring it up, just say you were scrolling and it was an old post.

If you want to smooth things over, shoot a quick message: hey sorry about that, it was an old photo and I was just scrolling.

Or you can mute or limit that profile for a while so you don’t have to see the posts; one slip isn’t a big deal in the grand scheme.
