I accidentally liked a really old social media post || I was scrolling through an old friend's profile and my finger slipped and I liked a photo from like 2015. I immediately unliked it but I'm pretty sure they still got a notification. It's so embarrassing because we haven't spoken in years. Now it looks like I was deep-diving on their profile, which I kind of was but not in a creepy way. I guess I just have to pretend it never happened.

Not a big deal honestly. People slip up like that all the time. If they bring it up just say you were scrolling and it happened to be an old post.

If it sticks around, you can mute their posts for a while or take a short break from the app. You don’t have to overthink it.
