The relativity twin paradox has always confused me. One twin travels at near light speed and returns younger than the stay-at-home twin. But from the traveling twin's perspective, shouldn't the Earth twin be moving and thus aging slower? How is this paradox resolved? What role does acceleration play in breaking the symmetry? And are there any experiments that have tested this?
