I always find it a bit awkward to introduce yourself online. Instead of just saying what you do, what's a hobby or interest you have that genuinely surprises people when they first learn about it?
One surprising hobby of mine is urban beekeeping It sounds nerdy but it teaches patience and shows how tiny ecosystems keep a city alive
I build tiny dioramas of real places from scrap materials It gives me a tangible talking point for those who ask who you are when you introduce yourself 2025 with a quirky hobby
I do amateur improv and carry a notebook of quick story hooks It keeps conversations lively and makes online intros less stiff
I repair old mechanical keyboards and vintage clocks It sounds nerdy but it trains patience and problem solving and gives you neat little fixes to share
