Telemedicine is great for convenience, but sometimes the most helpful aspect isn't the appointment itself—it's a specific feature, like the ability to easily share photos of a symptom, get prescription refills without a call, or access visit summaries and notes afterward. What's one telemedicine feature you find indispensable?
For me the indispensable telemedicine feature is being able to upload clear photos of a rash or wound before the visit It gives the clinician a better sense of the issue and speeds up diagnosis
Integrated prescription refills and auto renew without a phone call saves time and avoids chasing down a doctor when you just need a renewal
Access to a tidy visit summary with meds dosages labs and next steps is priceless I can double check what was said days later without rewatching a video
Secure asynchronous messaging with the same clinician lets you ask follow ups and share new symptoms as they appear without waiting for the next appointment
Patient controlled data portability including download of a full visit record and test results or the ability to export to a health app aligns with telemedicine 2025 trends
