When looking at tech conference schedule announcements for 2025, I'm always trying to evaluate the workshop schedules to determine which events offer the most practical value. Some conferences have amazing hands-on workshops, while others are more lecture-based.
I'm particularly interested in workshops that teach actual skills I can use in my job, rather than just theoretical concepts. The best workshops I've attended have been those with small class sizes, knowledgeable instructors, and practical exercises.
What types of workshops have you found most valuable at tech conferences? Any tips for identifying which workshops will be worth your time before you even register?
