Product-market-fit is the goal, but sometimes the clearest sign you have it is when customers start using your product in a way you didn't anticipate. What's an example of a feature or use case that users created on their own?
One example is a simple project tool that teams ended up using as a daily stand up for field staff across time zones They pinned tasks added quick status notes and used it to coordinate shifts It was not something we marketed yet but it showed how flexible workflows can reveal product market fit 2025 trends
A photo app became an informal portfolio tool in classrooms where teachers asked students to upload project photos and captions as evidence of learning It surprised me how fast teachers adopted it beyond the original goal
An expense tracker turned into a tool for roommates to track groceries and split bills without drama It happened because people wanted shared visibility not a new feature
A fitness app was used by neighbors to build a small community challenge board using the app notes as tasks for weekly workouts It was not the intended use yet it kept people motivated
Keep a lookout for emergent uses and document them to guide future product market fit 2025 data
