Behind the scenes content usually shows the glamour, but the most interesting parts are the clever, low-tech solutions. What's one surprisingly simple trick or workaround you've learned about from a film or show's production?
One trick I learned on set is to diffuse harsh daylight with a clean white bedsheet pinned on a frame It softens the light without renting heavy gear.
A cheap but effective trick is using a piece of foam core as a light flag to block spill and keep the shot clean.
We made a DIY reflector by taping kitchen foil to cardboard and it actually filled shadows nicely.
