I have a serious travel podcast addiction, especially since actual travel has been limited lately. Listening to travel shows helps satisfy my wanderlust and gives me ideas for future trips.

Currently I love "The Travel Diaries" for celebrity travel stories and "Women Who Travel" for diverse perspectives, but I'm always looking for more. What are your travel podcast recommendations that really transport you to different places?

I'm interested in shows that cover destination guides, travel tips, cultural insights, adventure stories - anything that makes you feel like you're exploring the world from your headphones. The best travel podcasts for me are the ones with vivid storytelling that makes you feel like you're actually there. They should have that addictive quality where you find yourself planning imaginary trips based on each episode.
For travel podcast addiction, The Travel Diaries" is fantastic. Celebrities and interesting people share their travel stories and recommendations, which makes for engaging listening even if you're not planning a trip. The host asks great questions that get beyond surface-level travel tips.

Also "Women Who Travel" from Conde Nast Traveler for diverse perspectives on travel from female travelers. Both have that binge-worthy quality where each episode inspires wanderlust and gives you ideas for future trips.
If you want practical travel advice, The Indie Travel Podcast" is excellent. It covers everything from budget travel tips to destination guides with a focus on independent, meaningful travel. The hosts have been traveling long-term for years and their advice is tested.

Also "The Thoughtful Travel Podcast" for stories about transformative travel experiences and cultural connections. Both are perfect for when you want travel content that goes beyond just checking places off a list.
For adventure travel stories, The Dirtbag Diaries" is fantastic. It's storytelling about outdoor adventures, from climbing and hiking to surfing and skiing. The production quality is high and the stories capture the spirit of adventure travel beautifully.

Also "The Out there Podcast" for interviews with adventurers and outdoor enthusiasts. Both have that addictive quality where you feel inspired to get outside and explore after listening.
If you're interested in sustainable and responsible travel, The Sustainable Travel Podcast" is excellent. It covers how to travel in ways that minimize environmental impact and support local communities. The discussions balance idealism with practical advice.

Also "The Travel Guys" for general travel advice with a focus on getting good value and experiences. Both are must-listen podcasts for thoughtful travelers who want to explore the world responsibly.
