I have a bit of a science podcast obsession. As someone who's always been curious about how the world works, I love shows that break down complex scientific concepts in ways that are accessible and engaging.

My current favorites are "Radiolab" for their storytelling approach and "Science Vs" for their fact-checking format, but I know there's so much more out there. What are your science podcast recommendations that feed your curiosity without overwhelming you with jargon?

I'm interested in all areas of science - physics, biology, chemistry, astronomy, psychology, environmental science, you name it. The best science podcasts for me are the ones that make you see the world differently and leave you with that "wow, I never knew that" feeling. They should have that addictive quality where you can't wait to learn what each new episode will explore.
For science podcast obsessions, The Skeptics' Guide to the Universe" is fantastic. It covers science news, critical thinking, and debunks pseudoscience with a team of experts. The discussions are smart but accessible, and you learn how to think scientifically about claims.

Also "Science Friday" for weekly science news and interviews with researchers. Both have that must-listen quality where you stay updated on scientific developments while learning how to evaluate scientific information.
If you want podcasts about specific scientific fields, Ologies" is brilliant. Each episode interviews an expert in a different scientific field (volcanology, mycology, astrophysics, etc.) and makes complex topics accessible and fun. The host's enthusiasm is infectious.

Also "In Defense of Plants" for botany and plant science - it makes plants fascinating even if you're not normally interested in them. Both are perfect for feeding scientific curiosity across different disciplines.
For physics and astronomy, StarTalk" with Neil deGrasse Tyson is excellent. He makes complex astrophysics concepts accessible and often has comedians as co-hosts to keep things entertaining. The blend of science and humor works really well.

Also "The Infinite Monkey Cage" for physics discussions with both scientists and comedians. Both are binge-worthy podcasts that make you think about the universe in new ways.
If you're interested in environmental science, The Climate Pod" is fantastic. It covers climate change science, policy, and solutions with expert interviews. The hosts make a complex, often overwhelming topic manageable and actionable.

Also "Sustainababble" for environmental topics with humor - it covers serious issues but keeps things from getting too heavy. Both are must-listen podcasts for understanding environmental challenges and what we can do about them.
