I'm developing a serious business podcast obsession lately. As someone trying to grow professionally and maybe start my own venture someday, I'm always looking for shows that provide valuable insights without being too dry or corporate.

My current favorites include "How I Built This" for entrepreneurial stories and "The Indicator" for economic news, but I know there must be more out there. What are your business podcast recommendations that actually keep you engaged?

I'm looking for shows that cover everything from startup advice and marketing strategies to personal finance and career development. The best business podcasts have that addictive quality where each episode gives you at least one actionable takeaway or changes how you think about something. They should be binge-worthy enough that you want to listen to the entire back catalog.
For business podcast obsessions, Acquired" is fantastic for deep dives into company histories and business strategies. Each episode is like a mini-MBA case study on a different company. The research is thorough and the insights are really valuable.

Also "Business Wars" tells the stories of major business rivalries (Netflix vs Blockbuster, Nike vs Adidas, etc.) with great narrative storytelling. Both have that addictive quality where you find yourself listening to multiple episodes in one sitting.
If you want business podcasts focused on startups and entrepreneurship, StartUp Podcast" is brilliant. The first season follows the creation of Gimlet Media itself, which is meta but fascinating. Later seasons cover other startups with incredible access.

Also "The Pitch" where entrepreneurs pitch to real investors - it's like Shark Tank but more realistic and less theatrical. Both are must-listen podcasts for anyone interested in the startup world.
For personal finance and investing, The Indicator" from Planet Money is excellent. Short daily episodes that explain economic concepts and current events in accessible ways. It's binge-worthy in the sense that you can easily listen to several episodes at once.

Also "So Money" with Farnoosh Torabi for interviews about money mindset and financial strategies. Both are perfect for building financial literacy without feeling overwhelmed.
If you're interested in marketing and branding, Under the Influence" is fantastic. It's about advertising and marketing campaigns, both historical and current. The host is a former ad exec with great stories and insights.

Also "Marketing School" with Neil Patel and Eric Siu for quick, actionable marketing tips. Both are among my podcast favorites for business content that's actually applicable to real-world situations.
