Easy recipes are everywhere, but the real challenge is making one truly your own. What's one simple recipe you've tweaked or added a single ingredient to that made it significantly better?
I added a touch of lime zest to a basic garlic chicken and rice and it brightened the plate without extra work.
For my simple pasta I stir in a spoon of miso paste with the butter and parmesan and it adds depth and umami without changing the familiar flavor.
I swapped half the cream in mashed potatoes with Greek yogurt and a squeeze of lemon juice for tang and lightness.
I add a pinch of smoked paprika to basic scrambled eggs and a tiny drizzle of olive oil on top it elevates the breakfast with almost no extra effort.
In a quick veggie stir fry I finish with a splash of soy sauce and a drizzle of honey to balance salt and sweetness the result tastes richer and brighter this aligns with easy recipes 2025 trends
