As someone who's always trying to learn new things, I'm constantly on the lookout for the best educational podcast recommendations. I listen during my daily walks and workouts, and I love shows that make complex topics accessible and engaging.

Recently I've been enjoying "Ologies" for science deep dives and "Stuff You Should Know" for general knowledge. But I'm looking for more shows that have that perfect balance of being informative while also being entertaining enough to keep you coming back.

What are your favorite educational podcasts that you find yourself recommending to everyone? I'm interested in everything from history and science to psychology and technology. The key for me is that they need to be binge-worthy - I want to feel excited to learn more with each episode.
For the best educational podcast recommendations, The History of English Podcast" is absolutely brilliant if you're interested in language. It traces the development of English from Proto-Indo-European to modern times, and the host makes what could be dry material completely engaging.

Also "Philosophize This!" is fantastic for making philosophy accessible and relevant. Both are perfect examples of binge-worthy podcasts that actually expand your knowledge in meaningful ways.
If you want educational content about psychology and human behavior, Hidden Brain" is excellent. It uses science and storytelling to help you understand the patterns that drive human behavior. Each episode gives you new insights about why people do what they do.

Also "Invisibilia" explores the invisible forces that shape human behavior - ideas, beliefs, assumptions. Both are must-listen podcasts that will change how you see the world around you.
For educational content that's also entertaining, No Such Thing as a Fish" is fantastic. It's from the researchers behind the British TV show QI, and each episode they share their favorite facts from the past week. It's funny, interesting, and you learn something new every episode.

Also "The Weirdest Thing I Learned This Week" from Popular Science is great for random but fascinating facts. Both have that addictive quality where you keep coming back for more interesting information.
If you're interested in science education, The Infinite Monkey Cage" is brilliant. It's a BBC radio show turned podcast that combines comedy and science with expert guests. They make complex scientific concepts accessible and entertaining.

Also "Sawbones: A Marital Tour of Misguided Medicine" is fantastic for medical history - it's funny and educational about historical medical practices. Both are among my podcast favorites for learning while being entertained.
