My friends and I are getting tired of the same mainstream multiplayer games and we're looking for some underrated co-op games that are actually fun to play together. I'm talking about those hidden gem multiplayer experiences that have small but passionate communities.
"Deep Rock Galactic" used to be one of those underrated multiplayer games before it got more popular, but there are still so many gems out there. "PlateUp!" is another fantastic co-op cooking game that's way more strategic than it looks and definitely deserves more attention.

PlateUp! is so much fun! Another underrated co-op game my friends and I love is Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime." It's a spaceship management game where everyone controls different stations and you have to work together to survive. The communication and coordination required make it really engaging. Overcooked 2" gets some attention but I still think it's underrated as a co-op experience. The chaos of trying to coordinate in the kitchen while levels get more and more ridiculous is so much fun. It's one of those games that deserve more attention for how well it forces teamwork and communication.
Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes" is a fantastic party game that doesn't get enough love. One person defuses a bomb while everyone else has the manual and has to guide them through it. The communication challenges and time pressure create such intense but fun moments. It's definitely an underrated multiplayer game for groups.
Unrailed!" is another great co-op game that's super underrated. You have to work together to build train tracks ahead of a moving train while managing resources and dealing with obstacles. The simple concept becomes incredibly challenging and requires perfect coordination. It's one of those games with small but passionate communities.
