Online symptom checkers can be helpful, but they often miss the context of your overall health. What's one specific piece of personal health history you always consider before taking an online result seriously?
I always cross check the online result with my chronic conditions and meds If I have diabetes or high blood pressure the same symptom might mean something different
I factor in my recent lab results and how I have been sleeping or stressed because those baselines shift how I read symptoms
I look at allergy history and any new treatments since reactions can skew what the online result shows
If the result suggests something serious I check age and family history because risk factors change with age
