I'm used to working with cPanel but I'm hearing mixed things about its future. Is cPanel hosting for small business still a good choice? Looking at web hosting with website builder options too since some clients prefer drag-and-drop interfaces. Also curious about web hosting customer support quality across different control panel options. Any experiences with newer alternatives?

cPanel hosting for small business is still relevant, but alternatives are gaining ground. Plesk and DirectAdmin are popular options, and many hosts are developing their own control panels. The advantage of cPanel is familiarity - most developers know it, and there's tons of documentation available.
The cPanel price increases have pushed many hosts to alternatives. For small business hosting plans, this might mean better value as hosts pass on savings. Web hosting with website builder options often use proprietary panels anyway, so cPanel isn't even a factor there.
Web hosting customer support quality varies wildly regardless of control panel. I've had terrible support with cPanel hosts and great support with custom panel hosts. The panel matters less than the company behind it. For budget-friendly business hosting, focus on support reviews rather than control panel brand.
