I've been experimenting with adding a "Process & Pivot" section to my graphic design portfolio, showing a successful final project alongside an initial concept that the client rejected, explaining why it didn't work. The feedback has been surprisingly positive, with hiring managers saying it demonstrates strategic thinking. Is showing "failure" or redirection in a portfolio becoming more valuable than just a gallery of flawless finals?
