Setting up a professional business and wondering about business email hosting services. Should I get email hosting separate from my web hosting? Looking for something reliable with good spam filtering and decent storage. Also curious about web hosting with free domain included packages - are those any good or should I keep domain registration separate?

I always recommend keeping business email hosting services separate from web hosting. If your website goes down, you don't want email to go down too. Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 are worth the cost for reliability and features. The spam filtering alone is better than most web hosting email solutions.
Web hosting with free domain included can be a good deal, but read the fine print. Sometimes the free" domain is only free for the first year, then they charge premium renewal rates. I usually recommend registering domains separately with a dedicated registrar for more control and better pricing long-term.
For my small business, I use Zoho Mail for email hosting. It's free for up to 5 users and works well enough for basic needs. The web interface isn't as polished as Gmail, but it gets the job done. For web hosting for local businesses on tight budgets, this can be a good compromise.
