I've been reading about the benefits of gratitude practices, and I'm curious about online gratitude communities. The research seems pretty solid that gratitude journaling and similar practices can improve mental health, but I'm wondering how that translates to online communities.

Has anyone participated in online gratitude communities? Did you find that regularly sharing what you're grateful for in a community setting made a difference compared to doing it privately?

I'm specifically interested in whether the social aspect adds something valuable - like accountability, shared inspiration, or just feeling less alone in practicing gratitude. Or does it sometimes backfire with comparison or pressure to perform?

Also curious about the format. Are these usually daily check-ins, weekly shares, themed prompts, or something else? And what platforms work best for this kind of ongoing positive practice?
