Need a good bluetooth speaker for backyard parties and camping trips. Looking for something with decent battery life, good sound quality, and durability. What are the best bluetooth speaker recommendations for actual outdoor use, not just sitting on a shelf?

For bluetooth speaker recommendations outdoors, the JBL Charge 5 is tough to beat. It's waterproof, dustproof, and floats if it falls in water. The sound is surprisingly good with decent bass, and it can charge your phone via USB. Battery life is about 20 hours at moderate volume. Perfect for beach trips or camping.
The Ultimate Ears Wonderboom 3 is great for true portability. It's small enough to clip to a backpack, waterproof, and has 360-degree sound. Battery life is about 13 hours. The outdoor boost mode actually makes a difference when you're outside. Pair two together for stereo sound.
If you want serious sound for backyard parties, the Sony SRS-XG500 is impressive. It gets seriously loud with clear sound even at high volumes. The battery lasts about 30 hours and it has lights for evening parties. It's heavy though, so not really for hiking. More for stationary outdoor gatherings.
