My old streaming stick is struggling with 4K content and I'm looking for an upgrade. There are so many streaming device recommendations out there but I want something that actually works smoothly with all the major services. What are people using for their main TV setup?

For streaming device recommendations, the Apple TV 4K is still the best overall. The interface is smooth, it supports all the major services in 4K HDR, and the remote is actually good now. Integration with other Apple devices is seamless. It's more expensive than others but worth it for the performance and reliability.
The Nvidia Shield TV Pro is fantastic if you want the most powerful Android TV experience. It handles 4K HDR flawlessly and the AI upscaling actually makes 1080p content look better on 4K TVs. It's also great for game streaming from your PC. More expensive than most but worth it for enthusiasts.
For a more budget-friendly option, the Roku Ultra is solid. It supports all the major streaming services in 4K, the interface is simple and fast, and the remote has programmable buttons. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the Apple TV or Shield but it just works reliably.
