I miss the days when you just bought a game and that was it. Are there still mobile games with traditional pricing out there? I'm talking about paying once and getting the complete experience, no season passes, no battle passes, no "premium currency." Just a good old-fashioned purchase like we used to have with PC and console games.
For mobile games with traditional pricing, look at games that are ports of PC or console titles. Games like Final Fantasy series (the older ones), Chrono Trigger, or Dragon Quest games are available as single purchases. They're expensive by mobile standards but you're getting complete RPGs.
The Room series that was mentioned earlier is a good example of mobile games with traditional pricing. Each game is a complete puzzle experience you pay for once. The developers could have easily added microtransactions but they chose to make proper games instead.
Another approach is to look for games from smaller indie developers. They often use traditional pricing because they're not trying to build massive corporations. Games like Hidden Folks (a Where's Waldo style game) or A Dark Room (text-based survival) are single purchases with no additional costs.
