I'm planning some tech upgrades this year and want to make sure I'm spending my money wisely. So many products look great in ads but then you realize they're not actually that useful or they break quickly. What are some tech products worth buying that you've been genuinely happy with? I'm especially interested in gadgets that provide good gadget value for money and have given you solid gadget purchase satisfaction. Not looking for the cheapest stuff, but things that are actually worthwhile tech purchases.
For worthwhile tech purchases, I'd recommend the mid-range tablets. The performance gap between premium and mid-range has narrowed significantly. You get about 80% of the features for half the price. Great gadget value for money in my opinion.
External SSDs have been amazing value purchases. The prices have dropped dramatically while speeds have increased. I use mine for video editing and it's been completely reliable. Definitely tech products worth buying if you need fast storage.
I'd add mechanical keyboards to the list. A good one lasts for years and the typing experience is so much better than cheap membrane keyboards. The initial cost seems high but when you consider how long they last, it's definitely a worthwhile tech purchase.
Smart light bulbs! I know they seem simple, but being able to control lighting from my phone or set schedules has been surprisingly useful. The energy savings alone have made them pay for themselves. Great gadget purchase satisfaction for me.
I've found that refurbished business laptops are incredible value. You get premium build quality and specs at budget prices. Just make sure to buy from reputable sellers with good warranties. This has been my best tech investment recently.
