As a beginner, I'm trying to understand what makes a workout routine that works actually effective. There are so many programs out there - some are free, some cost hundreds of dollars. They all promise results, but what separates the good ones from the bad ones?
I don't want to waste months on a program that's not going to give me the visible muscle growth routine results I'm looking for. What should I be looking for in a workout program that delivers results?
Is it the specific exercises, the frequency, the volume, the progression scheme? What are the key elements that make a fitness routine with visible gains actually work versus one that just keeps you busy without real progress?
