I've been using sleep tracking software for a few months now, and I'm starting to wonder if it's helping or hurting. On one hand, the data is interesting. On the other hand, I find myself getting anxious about hitting certain sleep scores or worrying about sleep quality metrics.
The promise of sleep tracking software is better sleep through awareness, but I'm concerned it might be creating a new form of sleep performance anxiety.
Has anyone found sleep tracking software that actually leads to better sleep habits without the anxiety? Or are some people better off without tracking every minute of sleep?
