I've been consuming a lot of YouTube tech tutorials lately, and I'm curious how they stack up against more formal platforms like Udemy or Coursera.

YouTube tutorials often feel more current and accessible, but they can be less structured and comprehensive. Formal courses usually have better curriculum design but might be more expensive and slower to update.

What have you found works best for different learning goals? Do you use YouTube for quick how-tos and formal courses for deeper learning, or do you have another approach?

However, YouTube tutorials vary widely in quality and often lack structure. You might watch 10 different videos to understand a concept that a well-designed course would explain systematically.
