I've been thinking about how ancestral traditions shape who we are today, even when we're not consciously practicing those traditions. Sometimes the influence is subtle—certain foods we prefer, ways we celebrate, or values we hold.
How have ancestral traditions influenced your sense of identity or your family's way of life? I'm interested in both the traditions that are actively maintained and those that have faded but still leave their mark on subsequent generations.
