I always get nervous when phone software updates pop up. On one hand, they're supposed to fix bugs and improve security. On the other hand, I've had updates completely break my phone's functionality in the past.
My current phone is working perfectly, and I'm hesitant to risk messing it up with an update. But I also don't want to miss out on security patches or new features.
What's your approach to phone software updates? Do you install them immediately, wait a few weeks to see if problems are reported, or avoid them altogether unless absolutely necessary?
Are there certain types of updates that are safer than others? Like security updates vs major version updates?
