My phone has been having some weird phone hardware problems lately. The vibration motor stopped working, the speaker crackles sometimes, and the power button is getting sticky.
I took it to a repair shop and they quoted me $350 to fix everything, which is almost what I paid for the phone originally. At what point do you just cut your losses and get a new device?
Are there certain phone hardware problems that are just too expensive to fix? I'm trying to figure out if I should invest in the repairs or put that money toward a new phone.
Also, has anyone had success with phone DIY repairs for these kinds of issues? I'm somewhat handy but I've never opened up a phone before.
