As a professional organizer, I see clients who are initially focused on just wanting their homes to look better. But what I've observed over the years is that the organized home benefits go way beyond aesthetics.
I'm curious what benefits other people have experienced after decluttering and organizing their spaces. From my work, I've seen things like:
- Reduced stress and anxiety
- Saved time (no more searching for lost items)
- Improved relationships (less arguing about mess)
- Better sleep quality
- Increased productivity
But I'd love to hear from people who have gone through the process themselves. What organized home benefits have you personally experienced that surprised you or were more significant than you expected?
Also, are there any benefits that people often overlook when they're considering whether to put in the effort to declutter and organize?
