I've been trying to tackle the clutter in my home for months now, but every time I start, I just feel completely overwhelmed. There's so much stuff everywhere, and I don't even know where to begin. I've tried the whole "one room at a time" approach, but then I end up with piles of stuff that need decisions made about them, and I just freeze up.

Has anyone found a method that actually works for reducing household clutter without making you want to give up halfway through? I'm especially struggling with sentimental items and things that "might be useful someday." How do you make those tough decisions about what to keep and what to let go of?

I'd love to hear what's worked for other people. Are there specific systems or approaches that helped you make real progress?
